City of Faribault Emergency Management Director and Fire Chief Dustin Dienst is the guest on today's KDHL AM MInnesota program at 9:30 a.m.  Dienst and Rice County Emergency Management Director Jennifer Hauer-Schmitz have been watching the river levels intently with the rapid snow melt.

We will get the very latest flood forecast and also discuss some fire safety issues.  We asked the Fire Chief to join us on the show each month to go over some fire safety tips and he was gracious enough to devote some time out of his busy schedule to be with us.  Chief Dienst sees education as a key component of the Fire Department's mission to keep us safe.

It never hurts to be reminded about things like paying attention to items on the stove while cooking and changing the batteries in your smoke detectors when the clocks are changed each spring and fall.

KDHL AM Minnesota is typically taped and the audio from the show goes back on this page by mid-afternoon the day of the program.

If you can't tune in live then come back here and listen at a more convenient time for you.
