Courtland, MN (KROC AM News) - A southern Minnesota woman was killed Monday in a traffic wreck in Nicollet County.

The State Patrol says a car driven by 45-year-old Naomi Peterson of New Ulm collided with a truck on Highway 14 near the town of Courtland. Peterson had been driving on a rural road while the truck was on Highway 14. It was driven by 44-year-old Daniel Brunberg of Roseville. He was not hurt.

The wreck happened around 1:30 PM.

A 17-year-old from St Peter was also killed in a traffic wreck Monday in Nicollet County. The State Patrol says she was driving near the town of Nicollet when her vehicle collided with a semi-truck around 11:30 AM. The teen's name has not been released yet.
