Faribault Mayor Annual Year End Visit on KDHL Today

Faribault Mayor Kevin Voracek will stop by KDHL for today's AM Minnesota program at 9:30 a.m. for our annual visit.  We started doing this year end visit with the Mayor of Faribault when Chuck Ackman was the head of city government many years ago.

We will review accomplishments in 2019 and talk about challenges facing the city in 2020.  I'm sure new apartment buildings will be on the list of accomplishments this year.  The Senior Center building was expanded and renamed Buckham West.

Cleanup from the September 2018 tornado still continues with a airport building scheduled for construction in the spring of 2020 at Liz Wall Strohfus Field.

Daikin Applied announced a major expansion in the community.  New businesses also chose the Faribault Municipal Airport for their home.

What kind of business would you like to see in Faribault?  We have no shortage of restaurants and the variety of cuisine is tremendous for a community our size.
