This Friday another Faribault Main Street Car Cruise features the Creative Crawl hosted by Fleur-de-Lis Gallery in historic downtown Faribault.   This is the final Creative Crawl for the summer.  Creatives will be selling their handmade items and providing artist demonstrations from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The Car Cruise hours are 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with classic vehicles, terrific food and memory lane music.

KDHL/ POWER 96 Radio is a proud sponsor of the Car Cruise and invites everyone to check out the 145th Rice County Fair either before or after they head downtown to see the amazing vehicles on display and listen to the music of the time when these vehicles were commonly seen on our roads.

Who doesn't remember their first vehicle?  It's like your first love, first kiss, first date or first experience with anything you love.

Fleur-de-Lis Gallery has opened at 219 Central Avenue and owner Jess Prill invites everyone to enjoy the Creative Crawl on Central and see all the fun art pieces available for purchase.

Talk about a winning combination.

The Rice County Fair has the old fashioned kind of horse power with Barnes Rodeo featured in the Grandstand at 7:00 p.m. Friday.  Adult tickets are $15, children 6-11 $5 and 5 and under are free.  A family pack including two adults and 4 children is $40.

If you aren't a rodeo fan then Elvis impersonator Brad Boice will be on the free act Sellner Midway Stage at 7:00 p.m.

Beer Garden entertainment features the Old Country Boys at 8:00 p.m. with a group of young men playing old country music from such artists as Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Hank Williams Senior and Junior, Don Williams and the list goes on or should I say the beat goes on.

The Hog Calling Contest has an adult and a children's division and check in is 4:30 p.m. with judging beginning 5:00 p.m.  The event is sponsored by Lyon's Meats of Faribault and the Rice County Pork Producers.

There are a lot of things to experience Friday in Faribault so come to KDHL/Power 96 Radio's hometown and have some fun.
