Faribault Booster Club Celebrates Community
Representatives of the Faribault Booster Club are scheduled to join us on KDHL AM Minnesota at 9:30 this morning. The Faribault organization recently went over the million dollar mark in assisting the school with the purchase of various items.
For example last fall new video scoreboards were installed in Nomeland Gym at Faribault High School. The bulk of the money for purchase came from the estate of alum and former teacher Dave Jackson, but the boosters filled in the rest thanks in part to sponsors purchasing advertising on the video scoreboard.
Booster Club Board members note the work would not be possible without the support of business owners, parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, community members and FHS alumni.
It's easy to become a member of the organizations. An individual membership is $10. There are other levels of membership also. From $1,500 for a Champion level, $1,000 Platinum, $500 Gold, $250 for Silver, $150 Bronze, $100 White, $50 Green, $25 Falcon.
We will go over some of the projects the Faribault Booster Club has funded in recent years.
