
COVID-19: Minnesota Sets New Daily Positive Test Total

St Paul (KROC AM News) - Some pretty high numbers were included in the state’s daily report on COVID-19 activity in Minnesota that was released Saturday.
The Minnesota Dept. of Health report shows more than 1500 new positive cases were confirmed Friday, the highest daily total to date.
Nearly 32,000 more tests were conducted, also a very high number. The total number of positive cases since the pandemic began has risen to nearly 111,000.
The report shows 10 more Minnesotans have died from the virus, raising the cumulative total to 2131.
Olmsted County’s recent streak of high daily positive case numbers continued Friday with 42 more, raising the overall total to 2817.
A study found the Rochester area will need nearly 20,000 more housing units by 2020.
