I remember when the reality show, Survivor, first showed up on TV.  We watched religiously at our house and made sure we had our TiVo ready to record the episodes if we weren't going to be home.  Yes, I am that old.  A dream for a lot of my friends was to BE on the show as a contestant.  Well, that dream is happening for three native Minnesotans in Season 44, and who knows, they may just be the Sole Survivor on the next Survivor!

Meet the Three Minnesotans Competing on Survivor Season 44

The cast for the next season of Survivor was revealed the other day and I had a little bit of Minnesota pride as I saw that the Land of 10,000 Lakes was represented well with 3 of the 18 castaways.  I was also a little jealous because those native Minnesotans were in Fiji and I am sitting here in below freezing temps...but I guess I'll survive this while they are surviving that.

According to ew.com, here are the three Minnesotans that had the amazing opportunity to get dirty, swim in the ocean, and participate in challenges to hopefully win $1 Million:

When Can We Watch The First Episode of Survivor Season 44?

The Survivor fans are anxious for a new season and if that is you, you'll have to wait just a little bit longer because season 44 won't be airing until March 1st on CBS.

I'll be keeping my ears open for any watch parties happening in Minnesota and if I hear of any, I'll post those over on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio.
