It's time for another adoptable animal to be highlighted, and I don't know if it's the cold, or something else but this week I am seeing double! Here are two rabbits that are looking for their new home in 2022. You know what they say, you are no bunny until some bunny loves you, and these two might just be a match for you!

Walter & Vinnie came to Mending Spirits after he and about 70 other rabbits were found in someone's back yard in a hoarding situation. Because of their upbringing, they are understandably shy and takes time to warm up to their humans. Vinnie & Walter enjoy each other’s company and they have remained together since they were captured and saved. Their lives have been traumatic, and they would thrive in a home environment where they are understood and given the patience to thrive. Both boys startle easily at first but seems to do much better if they are given some indication you are going to walk past him. I always say, "Okay Guys, I'm going to walk past you now, you don't need to be scared." That gentle heads-up is really helpful to them. The boys love their veggies and have big appetites. They enjoy playing with toilet paper rolls and doing bun-construction with boxes. Vinnie & Walter would be an excellent addition to someone who has patience and knowledge about working with undersocialized rabbits.  During the month of February, all pocket pets including Vinnie & Walter are 50% off adoption fees.
