His office says he feels fine and has been in quarantine since Saturday.

Simon released a statement Tuesday night, saying:

“I feel fine, probably because I'm fully vaccinated and boosted. At this point, I will continue to quarantine for the full ten-day period recommended in state and federal guidelines. I'll keep working during that time, as I've been doing so far this week.”

Gov. Tim Walz became infected right before Christmas and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison found out he was positive while getting ready to board a flight back to Minnesota last week. He was in another country visiting family. All three men said they are vaccinated and boosted.
