Albert Lea Man Found Dead After Traffic Wreck
Hayward, MN (KROC AM News) - An Albert Lea man who was apparently suffering a medical condition was pronounced dead at the scene after crashing his car in rural Freeborn County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 76-year-old William Struder was driving on I-90 near Hayward around 3:30 PM Thursday when his vehicle went into a ditch. The vehicle continued through a farm field, made a loop and vaulted two roads before rolling several times.
A passenger identified as 80-year-old Elaine Lieb of Albert Lea was not using a seatbelt and was ejected. She was flown to St. Marys Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
