The eighth annual Ag Symposium called New Tools for New Rules will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at the South Central College Conference Center in North Mankato. The Ag Symposium benefits student scholarships and agriculture programs at South Central College. It begins at 8:30AM and concludes at 4PM. The registration fee is $119 per person and you can register at the door. They have a great line-up of keynote presenters that are nationally known.

Dr. Temple Grandin is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, and she has been a pioneer in improving the handling and welfare of animals. Moe Russell is the co-founder and president of Russell Consulting Group, which is a leading provider of marketing and financial advice to crop and livestock producers. Also there will be Laura Daniels, who is an agricultural advocate and consultant delivering pro-ag and motivational speeches, and Lowell Catlett, Ph.D. is a futurist with positive and upbeat predictions.
