Tom Moore, born in Owatonna in 1938, is still coaching at the age of 81. Last year Tampa Bay Head Coach Bruce Arians tabbed Moore to be his Offensive Consultant, now this year after the big free-agent acquisition of Tom Brady to the Buccaneers, Moore now has another chance to win a 4th Super Bowl ring.

Moore, who graduated in Rochester, has spent 40+ seasons in the NFL, 13 coming with the Pittsburgh Steelers as Moore was the quarterback's coach for Terry Bradshaw.

According to Pro Football Focus online, "Only two teams in NFL history have ever produced a 4,000-yard passer, a 1,500-yard rusher and a 1,500-yard receiver in the same season. Those teams were the 1995 Detroit Lions and the 1999 Indianapolis Colts, and they were both led by offensive coordinator Tom Moore."

Will this year be another big year for a Tom Moore offense with Brady at the helm? Maybe, maybe not. What is impressive is that even at the age of 81 Moore still has enough cards up his sleeve to keep up with the ever-evolving world of the NFL.

While Moore is just one piece of the puzzle in Tom-pa Bay, it's a fun fact that he is still doing what he clearly loves, and that is being around football.
