The Owatonna High School gymnastics team makes its nearly annual trip to the state meet this weekend. For the sixth time in seven years OHS will compete in the team competition which will be held Friday, February 18 at 11 am. The meet is back into the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul after a stop over at a Twin Cities high school last year due to spectator limits due to the pandemic.

Here are FIVE FACTS Owatonna fans should know for the meet.

Owatonna has finished third at state in four straight appearances in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. Northfield went to state from Section 1AA in 2020...and finished third.

Class AA competes Friday, February 18 beginning at 11 am. The Huskies open on the balance beam. Coach Evan Moe says the team can set the standard on the event with strong performances. Hear a full interview with the coach below.
