What are the 10 things you can typically find in any average Minnesota kitchen? I took a peek into my cupboards to see what I had at my home, other than a bit of a mess. I'm wondering if my kitchen looks pretty much like everyone else's in Minnesota?

1. CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP
We are all about having supplies for making that last minute hot dish. A staple for a bunch of our family favorites revolve around Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup; followed in a close second by Cream of Chicken, and Cream of Celery in third.

2. A PRINT OF THE OLD GUY PRAYING
Did you know that this was a photograph taken back in 1920 by Eric Enstrom of a white bearded visitor to his studio, which his daughter Rhoda Nyberg colorized? This photo/print was named Minnesota's Official State Photograph in 2002. I didn't know!

3. A HALF A BAG OF FROZEN TATOR TOTS
Oh you don't have any? Keep looking...yep..wayyyy in the back. You may not want to eat them because there's no telling how long they've been in the freezer.

4. A CHEST FREEZER IN THE GARAGE OR BASEMENT FULL OF MEAT
Buying a full cow or pig from your local neighborhood farmer is what we do. That's some of the best meat you can get. Don't forget hunting season is right around the corner. You may want to finish up that last bit of deer in your freezer from last years hunt so you have room for the upcoming season.

5. LUTHERAN CHURCH BASEMENT SLOW COOKERS
They are the best way to make our hot dishes. What can we cay. These suckers last for years and are well used. you'll find mine in use quite often.

6. CAST IRON SKILLETS
Need I say more?

7. A FREEZER BAG OF LAST YEARS CHRISTMAS COOKIES
This is something you'll never find at my house. If there are a bag of Christmas cookies in my freezer; it's all by accident. We sometimes scour the freezer in search of treasures such as this.

8. BOXES OF MAC & CHEESE
What can we say? This is usually the first meal Minnesota teens learn how to make. If you can make Mac & Cheese from a box, you can survive on your own. Right of passage.

9. MULTIPLE CANS OF GREEN BEANS
You know where I'm going with this right? I'm the only Minnesotan that doesn't like Green Been Casserole. It doesn't mean I don't need to make it for those that do. I have at least 8 cans of green beans at all times.

10. BEER
How many refrigerators do you have? And how many of them are JUST for beer? need I say more?
