Even TC Bear, mascot of the Minnesota Twins, is tired of eating in the woods and is ready to get inside a restaurant soon. TC checked over the menu at Plaza Morena Restaurant on 26th Street in Owatonna during the Minnesota Twins winter caravan visit to Owatonna in 2017.

Most local restaurants are open for curbside pickup or delivery during the stay-at-home time of the coronavirus health crisis. But many people are looking forward to the day they can go back inside the favorite eating establishment and enjoy the ambiance and the friendly staff they are accustomed to.

Some KRFO Facebook visitors commented about which restaurants around town they are most looking forward to getting back into.

The Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce website provides a dining page with information on which restaurants are open for curbside or delivery and their hours of operation.

To spur some extra interest in visiting local restaurants during this time, Owatonna Live is hosting a virtual bingo game on Saturday, May 9. Get your bingo card from local restaurants. Find out the details on their Facebook page.
