Woman of Achievement Nominations Sought

This Monday, February 1, is the deadline to submit nominations for the Owatonna Business Women's "Woman of Achievement" award.

Go to http://www.owatonnabusinesswomen.wildapricot.org/ to submit your nominee. Nominees should be a professional or business woman living or working Steele County who has distinguished themselves in their careers and affected the community.

The OBW is also awarding a number of scholarships to area women as well. Registration deadline for that is also on Monday, February 1.

The nominees, along with scholarship recipients, will be announced on Friday, March 4, at the annual Woman of Achievement event at the Steele County Historical Society. Last year's winner, Annette Frank, will be the keynote speaker. The public is invited. Tickets are $25 and on sale at Kottke's and TriM Graphics.
