Tuesday is Rival Night as Owatonna and Faribault Basketball Teams Square Off

Owatonna and Faribault meet in basketball Tuesday night. Huskies boys hockey hosts South St. Paul and the Owatonna High School gymnasts go to Mankato.

The Huskies-Falcons boys game is in Faribault with radio coverage on Power 96. Owatonna is 3-3, 3-2 in the conference. Faribault is 2-4, 2-3 in the Big Nine. OHS coach Josh Williams recapped a win over Winona on Saturday's KRFO coach show.

The Huskies go to Northfield on Friday and host Century on Tuesday, December 22. Owatonna hosts the Federated Holiday Tournament beginning on Tuesday, December 29.

The OHS girls host the Falcons on Tuesday night on Kat Kountry 105FM. The Huskies dropped two of their three games last week, but coach Tricia Hoffman talked of reasons for optimism on Saturday's coach show.

The Owatonna girls host Northfield and travel to Rochester Mayo on December 22. Owatonna plays in a holiday tournament in St. Cloud starting Monday, December 28.

Owatonna's boys hockey team has won three straight and four of their last five. The Huskies host South St. Paul at 7PM Tuesday on KRFO AM 1390.

The OHS gymnasts started their season with a strong performance on Thursday with a score of 142.825. Owatonna competes at Mankato on Tuesday at 6:30PM.
