Talk of the Town April 15: Bark and Rec and Munchkin Market

Our guests on Talk of the Town on AM 1390 were Mary Jo Knudson and Cathy Lindekugel, who filled us in on the annual Bark and Rec. This year's event is April 25 from 9AM to 1PM at the Four Seasons. You’re invited to stop by with your dog and check out the vendors and exhibitors.

There will be treats for your dog, groomers, vets and demonstrations like K-9 Fresbee at 10AM and noon, along with a visit from Kash of the Owatonna Police Department at 11AM.

New this year is a 5K Run/Walk. You can register now at Park and Rec or the day of the event.

The Steele County Humane Society will be on hand with plenty of dogs eligible for adoption.

Then from 1-4PM it’s the Munchkin Market. Youth ages 6-15 will have tables selling toys, games and books. Contact Park and Rec to rent your table for just $10. There will be adult vendors as well.

Entertainment will be provided by the Jill Hoggard Academy of Dance, Camp Pillsbury and the Tadpole Parade Band.
