A late lead change decided Saturday's Gopher 50 late model charity stock car race at Deercreek Speedway. A bit of controversy was involved.

World of Outlaw Late Model Series points leader Josh Richards of West Virginia won the main feature Saturday night at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley.

The annual charity late model stock car race is Saturday, July 9, at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley. The ticket gate opens at 2:30PM. Hot laps commence at 6:30PM.

The 36th annual Gopher 50 was held Saturday at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley. Proceeds benefit the Blooming Prairie Lions Club.
