The Steele County Humane Society has received two new dogs just put up for adoption in the past week. One of them is Lady, who's the KRFO Radio Pup of the Week. She's a good looker, isn't she? She's about 8 years old and knows the command "stay." Lady enjoys car rides and perhaps this is a bonus as she prefers going to the bathroom outside. She appears to be part Beagle and part Coonhound. Lady is still a bit on the cautious side and she takes her time warming up to people. It's thought she may have had a less than ideal life before being put up for adoption. Her adoption fee is $200.

Summer is here and we certainly will be getting some warm weather. Let this serve as a reminder that your pets need plenty of fresh water and shade this time of year.
