Ginny is the KRFO Radio Pup of the Week. She's a pit mix and about 2 years old. She and her siblings came from an overcrowded refuge in Oklahoma. She is housebroken. Ginny is a little cautious when she first meets people but warms up quickly. She knows the commands sit, speak and lay down. That's better than most husbands. If she gets too noisy just say "hush puppy" (remember she's from down south in Oklahoma) and she'll quiet down. She knows how to fetch but needs work on bringing the ball back.

Ginny has been vet-checked, vaccinated, dewormed and spayed. Her adoption fee is $200.

Check out the other cats and dogs looking for homes by going to the Steele County Humane society website.

The Humane Society is running a special during the Steele County Free Fair. From Sunday, August 14, through Sunday, August 21, all adult cats 6 months and older will be 50 percent off.

The Steele County Humane Society is looking for volunteers to staff the Nelson Decorating parking lot during the fair. The group uses this as a fundraiser. Contact Connie at (507) 451-6084.

Remember to download the KRFO RadioPup app and follow the Huskies on your mobile device wherever you go. Husky volleyball on the radio is a little over two weeks away.
