The Steele County Historical Society (SCHS) presents Anne Cummins Peterson with "Stories from the State School: Desertion, Indenture and Murder."
Peterson is the Director of the Minnesota State Public School Orphanage Museum.
The program will take place at 7PM on Thursday, February 18 at the History Center, 1700 Austin Rd, in Owatonna.
Anne has learned the history of the Orphanage Museum from Harvey and Maxine Ronglien. She will share the many stories of the Minnesota State Public School for Dependent & Neglected Children, that was much like a small village.
The presentation is free for SCHS members and $2 for non-members.
