Homeschoolers grab your magnifying glass and start collecting clues! River Bend Nature Center is hosting a Nature Detective event for homeschool students in grades kindergarten through sixth on February 29, from 2-3:30PM. A “crime” has been committed at River Bend, and only YOU can help solve it! Train your senses to find clues hidden in the natural world and adventure through forest and prairie to solve the mystery for a warm, chocolatey reward.

In River Bend’s science and nature-themed homeschool programs children from homeschool families can learn and play together with the leadership of Nature Center’s experienced environmental educators. Each event will be a combination of outdoor and indoor activities including nature hikes and rambles, art and craft activities, games and other surprises.

The cost of the program is $8.00 per child. Pre-registration is required by the Friday, February 26 by phone at (507) 332-7151 or online at www.rbnc.org/homeschool.
