The Northfield Retirement Community is hosting Barbara Speedling, author of “Why Is Grandma Screaming?: A Practical Guide to Improving Quality of Life in Long Term Care” and quality of life specialist at Innovations for Quality Living, as she discusses supporting senior independence and enhanced quality of life at home. The conversation will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1321 North Ave., Northfield, at 9AM Saturday, September 24, and will explore what the Northfield community can do to support aging well.
