The American Red Cross will have blood drives in the area at the end of the month. If you would like to make an appointment, call 1-800-733-2767. A form of identification, such as a blood donor card or driver's license, is required at check in. Requirements to give blood include: weigh 110 pounds, in good health, 17 years of age or older.

On Friday, August 28:
- In Faribault, Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, 900 NW Fourth St., from 9AM to 3PM
- In Owatonna, Famous Dave's, 4355 W. Frontage Rd, from 10AM to 4PM
- In Blooming Prairie, City Center, 138 Highway S., from 1PM to 6PM
- In Waseca, Christian Assembly Church, 900 14th Ave. SE, from 8AM to 2PM
