The Owatonna Exchange Club will be conducting the fourth annual Coffee for Veterans from 10AM to 6:30PM Friday, April 14, at the Fareway Foods Store in Owatonna. Member volunteers will be collecting specially-priced coffee and cash donations during each shift. The donated coffee, along with the coffee purchased with the cash donations, will be delivered to the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis where the VA Volunteer Services will serve complimentary coffee in the hospital to veterans and their guests. Extra coffee will be distributed to the two Fisher Houses in Minneapolis and the 15 VA Community Based Outlet Centers. In past years, the Owatonna Exchange Club has collected as much as 360 pounds of coffee or the equivalent of nearly 34,000 cups of coffee for our veterans.
