Band Battle moves to Grandstand
The Steele County Fair Battle of the Bands will be held in front of the Grandstand this year; a free show on Wednesday August 13 at 7:00pm.
The "Battle of the Bands" has outgrown its recent home on the KRFO Radio Theater Stage. Last year nearly 600 fans packed that spot to cheer on their favorite band.
There is a limit of 10 bands. Participants do not have to be from Steele County. (registration form) The winning band will receive $500 and an appearance in a lounge at Treasure Island Resort and Casino in 2015. If the winning band is from Steele County, it will be entered in the talent contest at the Minnesota State Fair.
