I've got to get out of the habit of kicking the snow buildup under my fenders. My foot went through the rocker panel yesterday. My oh my the winter has been hard on my old vehicle. I sure hope the frame isn't held together with ice or I may be walking next week. With hopefully a taste of spring I think the old saying goes a young man's thoughts turn to love or something like that or if you're my age, estate sales and auctions are more likely your spring thoughts. These thoughts of love also relate to your animals. Stanley our part St Bernard is about a year old and it's easy to tell what's on his mind. He won't give our Marley a moments rest. She's at least learned to sit on her haunches when she sees him. But the poor old girl has to stand up sooner or later. It's important to make sure your pets are fixed. We'll tend to Stanley very soon.. The reasons are obvious but they're also less likely to run off if they're fixed. When we moved over here 21 years ago we bought a home but lived in an apartment while we fixed the house up.  With the house we inherited a cat that had lost one paw somehow(I called her Yardstick and you can figure out why) We also wound up with a real pretty dog that hung around. One day I went out to the house and I noticed she had met a boy friend. They headed to the woods and we never saw her again.
