Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn says two teenagers were injured in a single vehicle crash this morning in Morristown Township.  The accident occurred at the intersection of 230th Street West and Iona Avenue.

In a news release Dunn says Rice County deputies, Morristown Fire/Rescue and North Ambulance were all dispatched to the personal injury crash.

"Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male that had been ejected with critical injuries.  He was transported to D1 by ambulance and later transferred to a trauma center.  The female juvenile driver was arrested at the scene and transported to D1 with minor injuries where a blood sample was obtained.  She was released to a parent.  Criminal charges pending the results of the blood test.  The MN State Patrol responded for crash reconstruction and mapping.  The crash remains under investigation."
