The tornado that hit Greenfield, Iowa on Tuesday, May 21st, was rated an EF-4 and sadly killed 5 people. As cleanup begins, reports are coming in of items from the destroyed houses being found in Minnesota, 185 miles away.

The tornado was caught on camera by several individuals in Southeast Minnesota near Dodge Center.

The videos that are popping up on X today from the storm with multiple tornadoes reported in Iowa and Nebraska show the extreme devastation and power from the storms on April 26th, 2024.

CDC experts recommend pausing this common activity anytime a thunderstorm is nearby due to the risk of lightning.

The National Weather Service stated that the storm will hit Illinois on Tuesday afternoon, possibly producing large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.

Mother Nature has decided we have had enough nice days. Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin are about to get hit hard with some nasty wind and storms.

Recent snowfall has eased drought conditions across the state.
