Local businesses are on alert after a scammer tries to cash in on homecoming spirit.

This is the second time they've had to warn customers about a scam as of late.

The scammers are requesting thousands and even the local police department says the scam appears real.

More people are purchasing their fishing licenses online, and that means more people are getting scammed.

The scams never end, do they?

Sartell Police are reporting a resident received an email from who they thought was Norton Antivirus requesting a phone call. The person answering asks them to log onto their computer, the victim did so, shortly after that their computer locked and so did their bank account.

This is likely the most cruel fraud scheme out there.

This is unlike any other scam out there right now.

The St. Cloud Police Department are looking for the public's help to identify a male in the theft of auto parts. The photo is posted on the Tri-County Crime Stoppers facebook page.
