During Senior awards night Nelson was chosen the Bruce Smith Award recipient which goes to an outstanding athlete who is also a contributor in the community. Devin Lockerby received the Male Athlete of the Year award. He was a standout in football, played basketball and is a thrower on the track and field team. State participant in Gymnastics Lauren McDonough was named Female Athlete of the Year. The AAUW Sportswoman of the year is Whitten Wolff, participant in volleyball and track and field. The AAUW award is the female equivalent to Bruce Smith.
