Officials took up a private funding request to construct a new apartment building along the recently-finished Discovery Walk in downtown Rochester.

The planned rapid transit project has a new design.

It runs right through the heart of downtown Rochester and as of this week, the Zumbro River will be a little cleaner.

It's one of two Minnesota transit projects recommended for approval this year.
