This pandemic strikes again.  Now, because people have been enjoying their adult beverages at home more rather than at a bar, there seems to be a bit of a shortage of aluminum cans.  There are so many things that have happened since the beginning of this thing that no one probably saw coming.  Things that you wouldn't have considered happening before, and now here we are.

So, Surly Brewing Company in Minneapolis is doing something rather creative to deal with the shortage of aluminum cans.  They have had some beers that didn't sell as well as some others, or just some overstock of less popular beers.  They thought of repurposing some of those cans. Great idea.  And what has been born is the "Cantyhose".  It's like a stocking over a can.  They talked about it in a Facebook post.

Now, this is innovative thinking.  And also a way for them to not waste the overstock that they have, or the beers that have been discontinued.  They have also mentioned that if you plan to recycle (and please do), you will need to peel off the "cantyhose" and place in the recycle bin.  And we all know it's great for the environment, but really they just need the cans.  So, thank you in advance.
