This Wisconsin Town Was Named One The Most Beautiful In America
Many people have different opinions on where the most beautiful spots in America are, Some will say, Maine, Vermont, and Washington. While others will mention Hawaii and Texas. Everyone has their preference, but when a major national platform honors you, it means you really are beautiful in many people's eyes.
According to cntraveler.com, this Wisconsin town has been listed as one of the most beautiful in the USA.
I for one love Wisconsin, and find myself in the Dells a lot (No that's not the town on their list) It's easy to see just how much beauty the state has, and it's great to see which spots made the honorable list!
The Wisconsin Town
Lake Geneva Wisconsin is finding itself alongside other areas like Cape May New Jersey, Carmel-by-the-sea California, Paia Hawaii, and many other beautiful spots.
It is really cool to see some Midwestern representation when talking about beautiful spots in America. The site went on to say
The town offers a plethora of water activities perfect for spring and summer, even when the water might be a tad too cold for swimming. For a unique perspective, experience Lake Geneva from above on a hot air balloon ride or a canopy tour, the latter encompassing five suspended bridges and eight zip lines. To lean into the town's Great-Gatsby-meets-the-Midwest vibe, book a table at The Baker House, a Gilded-Age mansion with a garden terrace, champagne brunches, and an in-house piano player.
I know where I am going for my next road trip this year. Congratulations again to Lake Geneva Wisconsin!
Other Midwest Spots On The List
A spot in Michigan also made it onto the list. Saugatuck Michigan also now gets the honor of being a midwest spot on the list!
This tiny hamlet of less than 1,000 residents is nestled among the sand dunes on the east coast of Lake Michigan, making it a playground for sunbathers, kayakers, and dune buggy-riders. It’s a favorite among Chicagoans for its close proximity.
So it looks like I actually have two spots to stop by and see now! Sadly these were the only two Midwest spots that made the list. You can see that full list here.
