You’re Invited to the New OHS Grand Opening Open House
We're all invited to the Grand Opening of the new Owatonna High School on Saturday, September 23rd.
The ribbon cutting will be held in front of the main entrance at 11:30am. Self-guided tours of the building will be available from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Stop by and learn how the facility was built with Career Pathways as its centerpiece. The innovative learning program reflects the mission of the district and allows students to explore their interests and begin to prepare for further study, training, or work opportunities within a career field.
The 317,000 square foot building will accommodate 1,600 students, and is located on
approximately 90 acres of land with parking for over 800 vehicles.
The facility includes three stories of classrooms, state-of-the-art industrial arts labs and shop spaces, 825-seat auditorium, greenhouse, two gymnasiums, plus outdoor athletic fields.
