Pawn Stars Shine the Spotlight on Minnesota in Recent Episode

Pawn Stars, a hit series on the History Channel, stands out as one of the network's biggest successes. Set in Las Vegas, the show introduces viewers to a range of characters and offers a glimpse into the daily operations of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop.

For its 21st season, the producers opted for a change of scenery, hitting the road for filming. Last August, they stopped in Minnesota, and the episode filmed there is now available. During their time here, the show stars visited some well-known Minnesota establishments.

Why Is Pawn Stars a Popular Show?

I bet a lot of people haven't even been inside a pawn shop, which is probably what piques their interest when they watch.  Plus, the items showcased on the show are often incredibly unique and fascinating. But the real magic lies in the cast.

Rick Harrison, who co-owns and manages the pawn shop, takes the spotlight as the lead character. His dynamic with his son Corey, who also works there, is a central storyline. And then there's Chumlee, the lovably quirky coworker who adds a lot of humor to the mix.

The Pawn Stars Visit Minnesota

The cast of "Pawn Stars" decided to embark on a journey across America in search of extraordinary collectibles.

Dubbed "Pawn Stars Do America," the series features Rick Harrison, Corey Harrison, and Austin "Chumlee" Russell stepping out of their familiar setting at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas to visit with fans in eight cities.

The Minnesota episode was filmed August 22-24 & August 29-31.

Rick and the gang stopped at Can Can Wonderland to see the world's largest Pinball Game.

The team also savored one of Minnesota's classic delicacies, the Juicy Lucy, at the establishment that claims to have invented it - Matt's Bar.
