RECALL: Rocks Possibly In Food Sold At Popular Minnesota Store
Have you ever bit into something and thought, "Hmmm, that didn't feel quite right"? I have learned that our teeth are very precious (and expensive!) and unfortunately, a recall that was just issued by a popular grocery store in Minnesota because rocks were found in their product.
Yes, you read that right. Rocks are possibly in the product.
Recall Issued for Cookies Sold at Popular Grocery Store in Minnesota and Throughout the United States
According to a statement on the Trader Joe's website, a recall was issued on July 25th, 2023 for cookies that were sold in the stores. The company stated that the following brands "may contain rocks":
- TYPES OF COOKIES:
- Almond Windmill Cookies (SKU# 98744)
- with Sell By Date of 10/02/23 and 10/19/23 through 10/21/23
- Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies (SKU# 82752)
- with Sell By Date of 10/17/23 through 10/21/23
- Almond Windmill Cookies (SKU# 98744)
What To Do If You Have Purchased Any of the Products That Have Been Recalled
Trader Joe's has informed their consumers that the products listed above should not be consumed. Customers are asked to discard the product or bring to any Trader Joe's for a refund.
