Bethlehem Academy in Faribault is holding it's commencement ceremony Friday, May 26, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. in Van Orsow Auditorium on the BA campus.

31 graduates will flip their tassles during the event which will feature the Cardinals band and choir.

School officials announced the co-valedictorians with a weighted G.P.A. over 4.0 are Lindsay Hanson and Reagan Kangas.  Co-salutatorians for the Class of 2023 are Noah Ardolf abd Amelia Pemrick.

Melinda Reeder, President/Principal says, "Congratulations to these extraordinary scholars on earning the privilege of being named co-valedictorians and co-saluatorians."

"The Bethlehem Academy Class of 2023 is a hardworking, impressive group of students.  I commend the entire class for their perserverance and their accomplishments.  I am confident these top scholars will represent their class exremely well at our upcoming commencement celebrations this Friday."

Hanson and Kangas will speak to their classmates, faculty, staff, and guests Friday.

Co-valedictorian Lindsay Hanson is the daughter of Darla and Alex Hanson.  Lindsay is the Student Council Secretary, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) Vice President, a member of the National Honor Society, involved in Big Brothers/Big Sisters,

A three-sport athlete, Lindsay was Co-Captain for the volleyball, basketball and softball teams.

Her bio states, "Known for her genuine interest and eagerness in the pursuit of her education, Lindsay strives for excellence in everything she does and has exemplified what it means to be positively engaged in our school community.  Next fall she plans to attend Luther College in Decorah, Iowa to play volleyball and major in biology with the goal of attaining an advanced medical degree in genetic counseling."

Co-valedictorian Reagan Kangas is the daughter of Debbie Korman and Dan Kangas,  Reagan is co-President of National Honor Society, Senior Class Treasurer, and a member of SADD.  Reagan is a three-sport athlete and co-captain of the volleyball, basketball and softball teams.

Her bio states, "A goal-oriented student, Reagan's quiet and diligent professionalism has translated into high levels of personal success and her competitive spirit has fostered continued personal growth and excellence throughout her time at Bethlehem Academy.  Next fall Reagan will attend the College of St. Benedict to major in biology and pursue a doctor of dentistry degree."

Noah Ardolf, son of Lisa and Andy Ardolf, is the Class of 2023 co-salutatorian.  Noah is a member of National Honor Society and a four-year letter winner and co-captain of the football team.

His bio states, "An independent and articulate leader, Noah has consistently demonstrated his strong work ethic and set a positive example for his peers throughout his time at Bethlehem Academy.  Next fall, Noah will attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to major in business management."

Co-salutatorian Amelia Pemrick is the daughter of Dana and Shane Pemrick.  Amelia is the Campus Ministry President, Student Council Vice President, National Honor Society Secretary/Treasurer, and is involved in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program.  She is a member of SADD and a four-year member of the Faribault co-op swim team.

Her bio states, "Strong in her faith and known for her excellence in the classroom, Amelia has a heart for service and caring for others, both in the classroom and out.  Her selfless service to her community and peers are in keeping with the fine traditions and standards of Bethlehem Academy.   Next fall Amelia will attend Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, Florida to study a pre-medical" program.
