Three Teenagers Injured in Crash Near Blooming Prairie
Blooming Prairie, MN (KROC-AM News) - Three teenagers were injured in a crash early this morning near Blooming Prairie.
The State Patrol says 19-year-old Thaban Jeffers of Austin was driving a car south on Highway 218 about 2 miles north of Blooming Prairie around 5:45 AM when the vehicle went into the ditch, struck a field driveway, and vaulted through the air. He was transported to the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital in Austin with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Both of his passengers were from Wisconsin. The State Patrol says 18-year-old Niles Fitzpatrick of Milwaukee also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Austin the hospital. 19-year-old Keviyon Price of Kenosha was transported by ambulance to Rochester for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries at St. Marys hospital.
The crash report indicates the driver was wearing a seatbelt, but the two passengers were not.
