Teenager Among 3 People Injured in Rollover Crash in St. Charles
St. Charles, MN (KROC-AM News) - Three people were transported to St. Mary's Hospital following a rollover crash on the edge of St. Charles this afternoon.
The State Patrol says 34-year-old Spence Springwater of Red Wing was driving an SUV west on Highway 14 when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled around 2:20 PM. The crash occurred about a quarter of a mile east of St. Charles High School.
According to the State Patrol Report, the driver was not hurt but his three passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. They were identified as 13-year-old Kianna Olson and 31-year-old Michaela Busch of Red Wing, along with 51-year-old Dustin Sorensen of Rochester.
The road surface was wet when the crash occurred. The driver and three of his passengers were using seat belts, including the injured teenager.
