He was sentenced in Olmsted County Court earlier this week. The case started this past January.

The criminal complaint says a woman reported a man, identified as 51-year-old Todd Allyn McIntyre, had told her he was on his way to a bar in Rochester to kill her boyfriend.

The woman played the recording of McIntyre’s threat for an Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Corporal, the complaint says.

A man reported getting a similar call on the same day from McIntyre, in which he said he was going to hunt for and hurt a group of men he saw with the first witness in the case then hurt himself, the complaint said.

The man told law enforcement McIntyre said he was at a Rochester bar. Authorities found and arrested McIntyre at the bar, which is not named in the criminal complaint. He admitted to making the threats, the court document states.

McIntyre was arraigned on a felony count of terrorist threats on Jan. 19. He pled guilty to the charge on Feb. 2.

On Monday McIntyre was sentenced to two years in prison. He’s been given credit for 18 days served behind bars.
