Free Prince Display at Minnesota History Center
St Paul (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota History Center is inviting Prince fans to check out a display this week, marking the first anniversary of his death.
The display will be available for viewing on the first floor lobby during normal museum hours.
The center says the display includes his Purple Rain suit and some recently acquired handwritten lyrics to an unreleased 1977 song entitled "I Hope We Work It Out” signed by Prince.
Also included are some of the memorials left by fans at First Avenue in Minneapolis after his death and select photos collected as part of the History is Now! Remembering Prince photograph collection, which documents Prince's passing through the public's personal photos of memorials and celebrations of his life.
The items will be on display through Sunday. There is no admission charge to view the display.
(hours: Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday Noon-5 p.m.)
