Day of the Dinosaur

Have you heard about the pygmy dinosaur, a cousin of the T Rex that was only 25 feet long and weighed a mere 1,000 pounds?

Scientists have discovered a new species of dinosaur. It lived in what is now northern Alaska. A cousin of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, this dinosaur was about half the size of the immense more-famous beast. A T Rex was about 40 feet long and crushed the scales at up to 8 tons!

The Science Museum of Minnesota is hosting a dinosaur exhibit. My daughter was just on spring break from college and wanted to go! With hundreds of elementary age kids charging around the museum, it was a fun & unique experience to go with my grown up daughter.
