Thunderstorms

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for western Stearns County at 11:30 Monday night and it stayed in affect until 12:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Much of Minnesota hasn't seen much severe weather so far this year, but that wasn't the case for one lake which saw hail the size of baseballs fall Wednesday.

One of the best things to help green up lawns here in Minnesota in the early spring is to hope a few thunderstorms rumble our way.

Not often do we hear the word 'Thunder Sleet' being used in a forecast but thats exactly what we are experiencing today.

I usually am able to sleep through anything and everything, but, this morning that was not the case.

Oppressive heat is forecast across much of Minnesota this weekend.
