Roy Koenig will broadcast the first two Class A Quaterfinals games in Williams Arena Wednesday on KDHL.

The Wildcats were down 18 points with about 5 minutes left in the game when they slapped a full court press on and cut the Lions lead to 2 points with just over 3 minutes to go.

Minnesota Basketball News has released their updated rankings for the Top 20 teams in each class of girls and boys high school basketball. The Owatonna Huskies boys have been on a roll lately and are rated #19 in the biggest schools class this week.

Six South Suburban Conference schools are among the top 17 in Class 4A. Four Big Nine Conference teams are among the Top 15 Class 3A teams.

Some KDHL/POWER 96, KRFO, KAT KOUNTRY area coaches and teams were honored.

The Wildcats end their season with a 23-7 record while Hayfield is now 29-2 and goes to the Twin Cities to defend their 2021 State Class A title.
