Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Parkin said deputies responded to the fatal incident around 5:15 Sunday afternoon.

The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday, says the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office responded to the motorcycle accident on Saturday.

51-year-old Charles Antonio Webster Sr. is charged with third-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and first-degree drug sales.

Court documents say the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office seized nearly 90 grams of meth, over five grams of cocaine and nearly a gram of fentanyl.

The incident began shortly before 4 p.m. with an attempted traffic stop for traffic violations. It ended with the suspect running into the Zumbro River in rural southwest Rochester.
