Lakeville North doesn't lose to many teams once, in any sport. Owatonna baseball will have to top the Panthers twice on Tuesday to win the Section 1AAAA title in Dundas.
The Huskies reached the section finals for the second straight year with an 8-7 come from behind win over Lakeville South after losing a lead against Lakeville North in a 4-2 loss.
Owatonna built an early lead at Fuller Field at Dartt's Park and went on to beat Lakeville South 7-5 in Section 1AAAA. OHS will face top seed Lakeville North on Saturday.
Owatonna and Rochester Century will resume their suspended game Monday, May 30, at 1:30PM at John Adams Middle School in Rochester, John Marshall's home field.
Owatonna High School baseball will open the playoffs at home Saturday, May 28, hosting Rochester Century at 1PM at Fuller Field at Dartt's Park on KRFO AM 1390.
Rochester JM rolled away from Fuller Field at Dartt's Park with a pair of 3-2 victories over Owatonna, the first of which knocked the Huskies out of first place in the conference.
