Faribault Falcons won at Northfield and defending Section 1A champion Bethlehem Academy fell at home to #15 seed in Wednesday action.

Bethlehem Academy and Randolph will play 1:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023. If they play second day it could be 1:30 p.m. (Consolation title), 3:30 p.m. (Third Place) or state title game at 5:30 p.m.

Bethlehem Academy (19-1) will play Hayfield (12-10) at 5:00 p.m. Thursday on KDHL. If Hayfield wins a second game would follow. That game would also be on the Mighty 920.

The Falcons could host a section game after their win over Stewartville.

The Malecha's Auto Body Faribault, Crunch Time Faribault players of the game were Olivia Smith and Aly Cook. Smith was 2 for 4 at the plate with an RBI and run scored. Cook delivered an RBI and also held the Bombers in check over the last four innings.

Faribault Falcons baseball dropped two games to Albert Lea. The Falcons softball team defeated Albert Lea 13-3 in six innings at North Alexander Park.

Cannon Falls at Medford softball is the featured game on KDHL 920 AM, 97.9 FM and FREE KDHL app on Tuesday. Coverage begins about 4:25 p.m. with a 4:30 p.m. first pitch scheduled.

Faribault Falcons lost a heartbreaker on Senior Day. Bethlehem Academy defeated Maple River on the road.

Randolph pitcher, freshman Carter Raymond fanned 14 Maple River Eagles hitters and walked notody in a 6-1 win at home.

Bethlehem Academy defeated Blooming Prairie 10-8, Faribault Falcons lost to St. Peter 11-1.
