Faribault Falcons won at Northfield and defending Section 1A champion Bethlehem Academy fell at home to #15 seed in Wednesday action.

The MSHSL Section 1A Softball Tournament begins Monday, May 20, 2024 at the higher seeded teams fields.

The Faribault softball team is now hitting .299 on the season with 139 hits in 17 games led by Amanda Cullen's blistering .400 batting average. The Falcons baseball team is hitting under .180 as a team with 66 hits, 36 runs in 16 games. They have 9 extra base hits all season.

Faribault and Bethlehem Academy play Thursday in Austin. Falcons in elimination game. Cardinals for West Subsection title against Kenyon-Wanamingo.

Faribault goes to Rochester John Marshall Tuesday for a 5:00 p.m. game.

Randolph is 8-1 and goes to Goodhue Monday. Hayfield now 7-4 travels to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Tuesday.

Faribault Falcons baseball dropped two games to Albert Lea. The Falcons softball team defeated Albert Lea 13-3 in six innings at North Alexander Park.

The BA Cardinals go to United South Central Thursday for a 4:30 p.m. varsity start.
